“Alison, I just want to tell you how much I loved the first yoga class. Right after that I felt so relaxed and peaceful. When I went home I noticed that little things that used to bother me a lot were now not a big deal. Also when I was doing my homework after the class I felt so much more focused and actually understood what I was doing! I know that it already has and will continue to affect my life and what I do. I am counting down the days till the next class!!
Thank you again you are a wonderful yoga teacher!”

“Steve and I are so deeply appreciative for all she has gotten from your class these last few years. She has incorporated breathing and relaxation practices into daily life when things are stressful. She has taken the lessons and discussions about how to live thoughtfully with care for others and the environment to heart and has come home to talk about them. And glass half full/half empty has become a recent family short hand way for talking about many different situations. Thank you for all the gifts you continue to provide Fiona with.”

Alison's classes are that rare combination of nurturing and challenging. If I need to make adjustments for injury or age, Alison is always more than accommodating, she is downright insistent that we honor and meet our bodies where they are, not where we wish them to be. I can't recommend her classes highly enough.

"I really enjoy attending yoga classes because it provides a warm, welcoming place to relax. It is a place to clear myself of worries or stresses I may have. It helps me to tranquilize and calm down. I indubitably wish that I had yoga class everyday!"
Renee, age 11
Every class is different..... Will we start seated? Standing? Lying on our backs? We never know... and I bore easily.
Every class is a ‘complete" yoga "workout": all parts of the anatomy get some attention, from neck down to toes......
Every class "flows" from centering and breathing at the beginning through ever-changing groups of asanas to shivasana”
